Abstract

POTENSI GULMA SIAM DI KABUPATEN BANTUL DAN GUNUNGKIDUL UNTUK PENGEMBANGAN BAWANG MERAH ORGANIK

INTISARI

Penelitian dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui potensi gulma siam di Kabupaten Bantul dan Gunungkidul untuk pengembangan bawang merah organik telah dilaksanakan pada bulan Maret sampai Juni 2017. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode survei dan metode analisis laboratorium. Penentuan sampel dilakukan secara acak bertujuan (purposive random sampling), yang penentuan wilayahnya dilakukan secara bertingkat menggunakan metode rancangan tersarang (nested design). Metode analisis laboratorium digunakan untuk analisis kandungan nutrisi pada gulma siam dan tanah tempat tumbuh gulma siam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kepadatan populasi dan bobot biomassa gulma siam di Kabupaten Bantul lebih tinggi dari pada Kabupaten Gunungkidul. Nilai tertinggi ini didapat dari Kecamatan Dlingo, Desa Temuwuh dengan nilai rerata sebesar 34,00. Potensi gulma siam ditinjau dari kandungan unsur haranya adalah: C-Organik dan C/N Rasio gulma siam di Kabupaten Gunungkidul nilainya lebih tinggi yaitu 53,1% dan 27,4%. Sedangkan N-Total, P-Total dan K-Total di Kabupaten Bantul lebih tinggi dari pada Gunungkidul yaitu: 2,48%, 0,38%, 1,80%. Sifat kimia tanah tempat tumbuh gulma siam adalah: Bahan Organik (BO) dan K-Tersedia di Kabupaten Gunungkidul nilainya lebih tinggi yaitu 5,46% dan 0,95%. Sedangkan pH dan P-Tersedia di Kabupaten Bantul lebih tinggi dari pada Gunungkidul yaitu: 6,79% dan 11,57% dan untuk N-Total, Ca-Tersedia dan KPK masing-masing kabupaten tidak terdapat beda nyata.

ABSTRACT
This study was aimed to find out the potential of siam weeds in Bantul and Gunungkidul District for the development of organic onion has been conducted on March until June 2017. This study was conducted by survey method and laboratory analysis method. Determination of the sample was done purposively random sampling, which the determination of the area was done by using nested design method. The method of laboratory analysis was used to analyze the nutrient contents and the soil contents of siam weeds. The results showed that the population density and weight of siam weed biomass in Bantul District was higher than that of Gunungkidul District. The highest value is obtained from Dlingo Subdistrict, Temuwuh Village with a value of 34,00. Siam weeds potential in terms of nutrient contents ie : C-Organic and C/N siam weeds ratio in Gunungkidul District have a higher value that are 53,1% and 27,4%. While N-Total, P-Total, K-Total in Bantul District is higher than Gunungkidul District ie : 2,48%, 0,38%, 1,80%. The chemical properties of soil where siam weeds grow are Organic material (BO) and available-K in Gunungkidul District have a higher value that are 5,46% and 0,95%. While pH and available-P in Bantul District have a higher value than Gungkidul District ie : 6,79% and 11,57% and for N-Total, availableCa and KPK of each Districts there is no significant difference.
