language learning is tested and taught in schools. The introduction of
AI-based assessment tools in English language education, such as
automated writing assessment systems, AI-generated feedback
platforms, and speech recognition technologies, has made it easier
and more consistent to assess how well students are developing their
language skills. These systems use natural language processing (NLP)
and machine learning algorithms to analyze linguistic features and
provide automated feedback. This allows teachers to review many
student submissions more quickly.
