This activity was aimed to improving the productivity of ruminant animal through
improvements of feed with aplication of forage storage and complete feed. Location devotion
in two hamlets namely Sidorukun and Sido Manunggal in Sidokarto village, Sleman
Regency. Activities was carried out in Mey – Oktober 2018. Stages of actitvities starting
from counseling, training and demontrations plot. The number of participants are 12 farmers
in Sidorukun and 14 participant in Sido Manunggal. The feed improvement was made thrugh
feed processing technology using local raw materials. Microbia starter is derivied from fruit
expired. Making a hay produced hay with water content 20% and also silage using fruit
microbial produced a good silage with a green color and no fungi in silage. 30% farmer has
made a fruit microbial starter and aplied technology forage storage, but that has been
conciusly practicing regularly and appliying it.
