Abstract

This research to find out whether there is a relationship between perceptions of career development with employee loyalty to employees. Hypothesis proposed that there is a positive relationship between perceptions of career development with employee loyalty to employees. The more positive employee perceptions of career development, the higher the employee's loyalty to the company and vice versa the more negative perceptions of career development hence employee's employee loyalty will decrease. Subjects in this study are employees who work in PT. Intan Payawara Klaten as many as 45 people. The process of selecting subjects in this study using purposive sampling is research with consideration using certain characteristics, as for the characteristics of research that employees company PT. Intan Pariwara Klaten, employees who have worked for 1-5 years, permanent employees and contracts, employees who have a high school education up to S1. Data collection methods in this study using a scale that is the scale of perception of career development and employment loyalty scale. Result of data analysis show rxy = 0,293 with significance level 0,025 (p <0,050). Based on the results of the correlation can be stated that there is a positive relationship between perceptions of career development with employee loyalty to employees, so the hypothesis of research that states there is a positive relationship between perceptions of career development with employee loyalty to employees received. Contribution of perception variable of career development to work loyalty equal to 29,3% while rest of equal to 70,7% caused by other variable or other factor not studied in this research.
