Abstract

The purpose of this research is designed to : (1) Grow the tutorial-based interactive multimedia on the learning of mathematics in terms of understanding the mathematical concepts. (2) Know the feasibility of tutorial-based interactive multimedia on learning mathematics in terms of understanding the mathematical concepts. (3) Find out the influence of learning with tutorial-based interactive multimedia effect on mathematical understanding of students. This research use research and development approach. The procedures used to adopt the methods of research and development of the 4 is developed by Thiagarajan. There are 4 stages in the procedure of the research, namely (1) Definition phase (define), (2) Design Phase (design), (3) Development phase (develop), and (4) dissemination phase. Trials conducted in SMP N 1 Sedayu. The data from the now and then processed to determine the level of appropriateness of the learning media. Research results in the form of learning material for Line and angle-based media product of Adobe Flash CS3 application with the results of two expert material get the average score of 3.46 in the category either. The results of the expert assessment of the media get the average score of 3.83 of category. The results of the limited field trial respondents to get the average score of 3.57 of the category. The results of more get the average score of 3.84 of the category. Obtained by N-gain of 0.51 with medium percentage of the completeness classification of 90.32% of test results and student has mastery of minimum score criterion. Based on these data, it can be concluded that multimedia learning material for Line and point-based Adobe Flash CS 3 is declared of learning. Keywords: interactive multimedia, the lines and the corners, and understandy the concept.
