PENGARUH TAKARAN SORGUM PADA MEDIA SERBUK GERGAJI KAYU SENGON DAN AMPAS TEBU TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN DAN HASIL JAMUR TIRAM PUTIH

Penelitian tentang pengaruh penambahan sorgum pada dua macam media
terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil jamur tiram putih dilaksanakan di Dusun Jitengan,
Balecatur, Gamping, Sleman dengan ketinggian tempat 114 mdpl mulai bulan Maret
2017 sampai dengan bulan Juni 2017. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dengan
metode percobaan (eksperimen). Faktor perlakuan adalah faktor tunggal, yaitu unit
percobaan ditata dalam Rancangan Acak Kelompok Lengkap (RAKL) dengan 8
perlakuan, 3 ulangan, 5 sampel, sehingga jumlah unit percobaan keseluruhan ada 120
unit. Perlakuan berupa penambahan sorgum pada dua media serbuk gergaji kayu sengon
dan ampas tebu dengan penambahan 0%, 2%, 5% dan 8%. Data yang diperoleh dari
penelitian dianalisis dengan analisis varians pada taraf kepercayaan 5%.Hasil penelitian
takaran sorgum pada media serbuk gergaji kayu sengon dan ampas tebu terhadap
pertumbuhan dan hasil jamur tiram putih takaran sorgum 8% pada media serbuk gergaji
kayu sengon dan ampas tebu memberikan pertumbuhan miseliumterbaik.

ABSTRACT
The research about the influences of sorghum addition on two kinds of medium
towards the growths and the results of white oyster mushrooms was conducted in Dusun
Jitengan, Balecatur, Gamping, Sleman with the height of place in 114 MASL, started
from March 2017 until June 2017. This research was an experimental research. The
treatment factor was a single factor which was an experimental unitwhich was
organized in Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) with 8 treatments, 3
repetitions, and 5 samples so that there were 120 experimental units in total. The
treatment wasa sorghum addition on two media which were sawdust of silk tree and
bagasse with the percentage ofaddition in 0%, 2%, 5%, and 8%. The data from this
research were analyzed by analysis of variance with 5% of trust level. The researchof
sorghum dosing on the media of sawdust from silk tree and bagasse towards the
growthsand the results of white oyster mushroom showed that the sorghum dosage in
8% on the media of sawdust from the silk tree and bagasse gave the best growth of
mycelium.
