EVALUASI KINERJA ITIK MANILA JANTAN DAN BETINA PADA PEMBERIAN RANSUM DENGAN ARAS PROTEIN YANG BERBEDA

ABSTRACT

This objectives of this experiment was to evaluate the performance of male and female muscovy on providing ration with protein levels different. This Research using experimental methods, with completely randomized factorial design (2x2) by sex and protein level different on the ration . This research conducted by experiment method by factorial experiment (2x2) two factors, the first factor was sex (male and female) and second factor was protein level on the ration (18 and 20%). The sixty muscovy ducks consisted 30 female and 39 female alocated by factorial experiment (2x2) following completely Randomized Design, Ration were given isonutrient except protein level (18 and 20 %). The collected data were i.e feed consumption, average daily gain, feed conversion, protein and energy efficiency and performance indeks (PI). The results of this experiment showed feed consumption, gain weight, feed conversion and performance indeks on male muscovy significantly (P<0,05) better than female muscovy. Duck ration with 20% protein showed feed conversion and performance indeks siginificantly (P<0,05) better than duck ration with 18%.. The results concluded, male muscovy have feed consumption, average daily gain and efficiency of protein utilization is better than female ducks.
