Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dosis pupuk kompos
gulma siam terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tiga varietas bawang merah.
Penelitian dilakukan di Kebun Percobaan Gunung Bulu Universitas Mercu Buana
Yogyakarta pada bulan April – Juni 2017. Penelitian ini merupakan percobaan
faktorial 3x3 yang disusun dalam Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL). Faktor
pertama adalah 3 varietas bawang merah yaitu varietas Thailand, varietas Biru
Lancor dan varietas Bima Curut, sedangkan faktor yang kedua adalah dosis pupuk
organik gulma siam yaitu 0 ton/ha (kontrol), 10 ton/ha dan 20 ton/ha. Hasil
penelitian menunjukan bahwa pemberian dosis pupuk organik gulma siam pada
dosis yang berbeda memberikan pengaruh yang berbeda terhadap pertumbuhan
dan hasil tiga varietas bawang merah. Pemberian dosis pupuk organik gulma siam
125 g/polibag menunjukkan hasil bawang merah yang paling baik terhadap
varietas Biru Lancor dibandingkan pemberian tanpa pupuk organik (kontrol), 62,5
g/polibag dengan varietas Thailand dan Bima Curut.

ABSTRACT
This research of was conducted to determine the effect of siam weed
compost on growth and yield three varieties of shallot. The research was done at
Gunung Bulu Experimental Garden of Mercu Buana Yogyakarta University from
April - June 2017. This reseach was arranged in Completely Randomized Design
(CRD) with 3x3 treatments. The first factor was shallot variety of Thailand, Blue
Lancor and Bima Curut, while the second factor was the dose of siam weed
compost fertilizer of 0 ton / ha (control), 10 ton / ha and 20 ton / ha. The results
showed that the dose siam weed compost organic fertilizer at different doses gave
different responses to the growth and yield of three varieties of shallot. The dose
of siam weed organic fertilizer of 125 g / polybag showed the best for shallot yield
of Blue Lancor varieties compared to control, (62.5 g / polybag) with Thai and
Bima Curut varieties.
