PENGARUH JUMLAH RUAS TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN DAN KEBERHASILAN SETEK PEPINO (Solanum muricatum Aiton)

The research objective was to know influence of internode number of
cutting material on the growth and efficacy of pepino. It had been executed from
May to July 2007 at Wangsa Manggala Orchard,Gunung Bulu, Argorejo
Countryside, Sedayu District, Bantul, Yogyakarta, at height of 87 m abave sea
level.The research, method used single factor arranged in Completely
Randomized Design (CRD) by 3 replications. Treatment tested consisted of 4, 5,
6 and 7 internode number from tip and base on primary branch of cutting stuff.
The result of this research indicated that 7 internode number from base primary
branch. showed the best growth and efficacy of pepino cutting.
