Accepted Writing is one of the productive skills that need more effort in learning and teaching process. The difficulties that found in the writing learning and teaching process is the limitation time of face to face learning to deliver the materials, to produce the tasks, to evaluate as well as to give feedback. E-learning is the use of internet technologies that can be used in distance learning or conventional learning depends on its necessity. The objective of this research was to portray how the e-learning platform as a supplementary program be the solution for teacher and students to solve the problems of limited time in conventional class. Through this platform, the obstacles of time could be reduced both on teachers’ and students side. The teacher can oplimally used this platform to deliver, evaluate and giving feedback and scoring to the tasks, as well as the solution for the students to learn and work the task outside the classroom and also to interact and respond the tasks between peers. This was a descriptive quantitative research that involves the college students and the teachers of first semester of Environmental Engineering Department of Civil Engineering and Planning Faculty. The data collecting technique in this research were the result of questionnaire, interview and the documentations from the platform; the number of students’ online hour, peers’ responds, teacher scoring and feedbacks. Based on the results, the total of online hour, the number of writing tasks that done and peers’ responses from the students was slightly. On the other hand, the teachers’ questionnaire stated that the e-learning platform was useful for them to deliver the tasks, giving feedback as well as scoring the tasks. It can be concluded that the e-learning platform in writing on the English matriculation Program cannot solve the problem of limited time in face to face meeting or conventional class if the students’ motivation in self learning still need to improved but useful for the teachers to deliver the learning material and evaluate the tasks.
