Abstract
This study aims to determine how far simpricia ginger supprements in the, ration can improve the performance of broiler
chickens. Performance are feed intake, welght gain, feed conversion, mortality and rncome over Feed and chick cost (IOFCC). Studies using 7 days old-broirer chickens that are kept up age 36 days. .A total of 60 broirer chickens allocated to 5 treatments, each treatment was repeated 3 rimes. The level provision of treatment is simpricia ginger (Tj) in the ration That is R0 (0% TJ), R1 (0,05% TJ), .R2 (0,1% TJ). R3 (0,15%) TJ, R4 (0,2% TJ). Data were analyzed by analysis of variance in Completely Randomized Design (CRD), the real difference test followed by Duncan’s New MultipleRange Test(DMRT). The average of feed consumption of R0, R1,R2,R3,R4 respectively are 320,32; 340,42,330,94;340,21; 347,40 (g/head). The average of feed consumption of R0, R1, , R2, R3, R4 are 609,93 , 632.81, 620,70; 588,35; 584,39 (g/head) . The averrage of weight gain from research R0, R1, R2, R3, R4 respectively are 320,32, 340,42, 330,21, 347,40 (g/head) The. average of the feed.conversion of 'R0,'R1,R2,R3, R4 are1,886, 1,832, 1,781, 1,700, 1,654. .Theaverage of lOFCC are R0 , R1, R2, R3, R4 respectively are 3993.44: 4318.31: 4133,57; 4405,30: 4819.30 (IDR / head). There is no mortality during the study. It can be concluded that the. use of simplisia og ginger in a ration up to 0,2 % level can improve the performance of broiler.
