Abstract
The purpose of this study was to identify describing the teaching
and learning process of CLS (Critical Listening and Speaking)
class at Universitas Mercu Buana, Yogyakarta, as a result of the
presence of a pandemic COVID-19. This study uses a single case
study method and the research uses quantitative and qualitative
approach. The data obtained through interviews, observations and
the distribution of online questionnaires to determine correlation
of student achievement due to the pandemic COVID-19 towards
teaching and learning activities on online CLS classrooms. In this
study, participants were 30 fourth semester students from CLS
class’s campus 1 and 2. The result of the data “output” aspect that rxy = 0.8902 which means that there is very high correlation
between student learning achievement and the online CLS course.
This study could be references to another researches who conduct
about online learning.
